TruthPoint Accounting's mission is to support organizations that give back to our community by providing expert financial, accounting and tax services. Churches and nonprofits have a heavy weight on their shoulders as they strive to serve others and make an impact in our world. Our aim is to lift the burden of handling financials from them. Our Story
In 2004 our founder, Julie Kim, started the company TechFinanceCFO which provides outsourced accounting and tax services to small businesses. TechFinanceCFO has served over 500 companies to date and has helped many startups and small businesses thrive during the past 20 years.
In 2022, her daughter Nicole, an accountant, married Chris, Assistant Pastor of a small Baptist church in South Florida. In this church, many of the financial duties were being done by the pastoral staff. These responsibilities took significant time and did not allow them to focus on their mission. Julie learned from her son-in-law how many churches often struggle to manage their finances while trying to fulfill their many other priorities.
Julie realized that providing accounting and tax services to churches can help them not only save money, but also focus their full attention on their mission. This led her to start TruthPoint Accounting, which provides a full-suite of accounting and tax services to churches and other non-profit organizations.
